Oswego Industries Inc. offers two types of Day Habilitation, LIFE Day Habilitation, and Site-Based Group Day Habilitation

LIFE Day Habilitation

Individuals who participate in the LIFE program are empowered to become actively engaged in their local community by working on essential social skills through staff and peer interaction in the program and exposure to opportunities in the community.

LIFE is a day habilitation program, in a group setting, that is “Without Walls.” Participants typically spend 51% of their time out in the community.

Site-Based Group Day Habilitation

Individuals who attend site-based group day habilitation have profound developmental, intellectual, or multiple disabilities that may need professional nursing services or behavioral interventions.

This service provides strategies designed to provide sensory support, teach functional skills, provide meaningful recreation, and develop physical abilities via music, games, and exercise.
